Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in California seeks a Safety and Environmental Health leader to implement EHS programs across facilities in the region. Under supervision, you will develop compliant safety processes, lead incident investigations, and drive regulatory reporting.

The role requires at least 2 years in EHS, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and the ability to travel up to 30% within and outside the state. English and Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Business or related field.
• At least 2 years of EHS experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of OSHA 10/30 and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with local leadership to develop and maintain compliant safety programs and audit processes and programs.
• Develop and implement safety initiatives to reduce the frequency of EHS incidents and claims at locations.
• Support facilities in conducting incident investigations.
• Lead Safety Committee teams and meetings.
• Partner with HR and Workers Compensation representatives for claim follow-up.
• Complete annual regulatory reporting (environmental and safety) on behalf of locations as needed and maintain regulatory documents (environmental, safety).
