Job summary

Pretium Packaging in St. Charles, Illinois seeks an on-site EHS Program Manager who will lead a safety-first culture, drive compliance, and own safety programs across the plant. Spanish fluency is a plus.

You will oversee audits, investigations, training, OSHA recordkeeping, and environmental permits; coach leaders, collaborate across operations and engineering, and partner with regulatory bodies to sustain responsible plastics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastics, injection molding, blow molding, or industrial manufacturing (preferred).
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Credentials: CHST, ASP, First Aid/CPR/AED preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

• Deliver targeted training for new hires and seasoned operators.
• Manage OSHA recordkeeping (300, 301) and regulatory changes.

• Environmental leadership: ensure compliance across air, wastewater, stormwater, and waste management; manage permits, reports, and agency submissions.
• Train, engage, and prepare; assess and mitigate risks tied to plastics processing equipment, robotics/automation, compressed air, and material handling/resins.
