Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking an EH&S/Process Engineer based at a manufacturing plant in Southern California.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance, safety, and process engineering within a ~75-employee company, reporting to the EH&S Director in a PSM-like environment with cGMP-regulated operations. Responsibilities include lockout/tagout updates, EH&S training, inspections, safety meetings, SOP creation, and environmental activities support, with potential for broader

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or related field as minimum requirement.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in chemicals or materials manufacturing.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification ideal (24-hour acceptable).
• Open to EH&S engineer or process engineer looking to expand skills.
• Train the Trainer certification in LOTO/Confined Space/Fall protection or similar.

Responsabilités

• Ensure lockout/tagout procedures are available and up to date.
• Perform monthly in-person EH&S training.
• Conduct periodic EH&S inspections.
• Participate in weekend safety meetings and safety committee teams.
• Write EH&S related SOPs.
• Be a member of the 24-hour HAZWOPER team.
• Manage administrative duties with internal EH&S software systems.
• Assist in permit-required environmental activities (wastewater, storm water, air quality, etc).

B.S. Degree in Engineering (Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, etc)
