Leslie’s, Inc. in East Saint Louis, IL, seeks a Safety Manager to oversee all EHS programs at Stellar Manufacturing’s facility. The role ensures OSHA/EPA/NFPA compliance, builds a proactive safety culture, and partners with operations, maintenance, HR and leadership.

The position leads a comprehensive safety strategy, incident investigations, and the move toward ISO45001 and ISO14001 certifications while driving continuous improvement across safety metrics and training programs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazard control methods.
• Experience implementing EHS systems in manufacturing settings.
• Proven ability to lead safety initiatives and improve metrics.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership — Develop and integrate a comprehensive safety strategy embedding safe behaviors and accountability.
• EHS Management System — Oversee development and improvement of the facility’s EHS system and compliance reporting.
• Process Safety & Standardization — Develop standard safety processes and SOPs with cross-functional teams.
• Contractor & Supplier Safety — Onboard contractors and ensure safety compliance and consistency.
• Incident Response & Investigation — Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
