Gowan Company seeks an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and continuously improve all EHS programs at our chemical manufacturing facility. This role partners with Global EHS, Quality, Operations, and Plant leadership to drive compliance, risk reduction, and a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in EHS/engineering/science, 7+ years of manufacturing EHS experience, and 5+ years of leadership, with CSP/CHMM/CIH

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing (chemical industry preferred).
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Professional EHS certifications preferred (CSP, ASP, CHMM, CIH).
• Experience with regulatory compliance programs and audits.

Aufgaben

• Lead site EHS governance aligned with global standards and policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations; manage permits and reporting.
• Develop and improve site safety management systems; ensure OSHA compliance and risk assessments.
• Oversee process safety activities (PRA, MOC, PSC), incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Manage budget, projects, and staffing for EHS initiatives; drive continuous improvement.
