Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain EHS programs for a heavy industrial/foundry environment.
  • Ensure OSHA, EPA, and state/local EHS compliance; manage reporting and inspections.
  • Oversee systems for training records, safety manuals, and incident tracking.
  • Support ISO 14001/45001 implementation and audits.
  • Identify hazards, lead risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Create and deliver EHS training programs.
  • Facilitate Safety Committee meetings and emergency drills.
  • Partner with HR/Operations to integrate EHS.
  • Oversee a behavior-based safety program.
  • Communicate effectively on EHS matters.
  • Continuously improve EHS performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field.
  • 5–6+ years EHS experience in manufacturing/foundry.
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance and EHS systems.
  • OSHA General Industry Trainer certification (or ability to obtain).

Preferred Skills:

  • Change leadership and team engagement.
  • ISO 14001/45001 experience.
  • Strong technical and organizational skills.
  • CSP, CHMM, or similar certification.
  • EHS software experience.
