Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs across our manufacturing activities.

You will ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA standards, build a strong safety culture, conduct root-cause investigations, deliver training, and collaborate with site leadership to manage day-to-day EHS operations and program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent are preferred.
• Typically requires 7+ years of experience in environmental health & safety within manufacturing or similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of EHS programs and initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate EHS risks across Loveland facility and operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other standards.

Role Overview

Beehive Industries is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs. This roleis responsible forensuring regulatory compliance, fostering a strong safety culture, and supporting safe operations across additive manufacturing, engine testing, casting, laboratories, and other manufacturing activities. The EHS Manager will partner closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to execute strategic EHS initiatives while managing day-to-day EHS operations and program effectiveness.

What You’ll Do...

• Champion proactive safety initiatives such as hazard identification programs, safety observations, risk assessments, and employee engagement efforts to prevent injuries and improve overall site safety performance
• Independentlyidentify, characterize, and mitigate risks at the Beehive Loveland facility
• Interact and partner directly with site and functional leadership in the development and execution of focused EHS initiatives and objectives
• Build and support a strong safety culture through leadership to front line operators
• Perform investigations into the root cause of injuries, events, and near misses. Ensureappropriate actionsare taken to correct and prevent recurrence of unsafe conditions and/or behaviors
• Build and deliver effective EHS training to site employees
• Write, implement, and manage EHS and programs,policiesand procedures
• Responsible for regulatory compliance of all local, state, and federal requirements and interact with regulators and key stakeholders as applicable to the Knoxville operations
• Effectively manage manufacturing byproducts including Hazardous Waste; prioritizing compliance,wasteand cost minimization
• Collaborate closely with site team on change management projects

You have...

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related fieldrequired
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent are preferred

Experience

• Typically requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience in environmental health and safety within manufacturing, research and development, testing, or industrial environments
• Experience leading EHS programs and initiatives across multiple operational areas
• Demonstrated success implementing safety culture improvements, compliance programs, and risk mitigation strategies
• Experience managing projects, programs, and cross-functional initiatives
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and sustain effective EHS management systems and programs
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive accountability across all levels of the organization
• Excellent root cause analysis, risk assessment, and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication, presentation, and training facilitation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational support
• Experience interacting with regulatory agencies, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• The ability to obtain andmaintaina U.S. government issued security clearance isrequired. U.S. citizenship isrequired, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $130,000-$162,000 base salary. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
