The role demands hands-on leadership on multi-shift operations, extensive regulatory experience, and a track record of delivering tangible safety improvements without a dedicated supervisor.

The Safety team exists to protect Spreetail’s most important asset — our people. The Safety Manager drives a proactive safety culture by owning both the strategic oversight and the hands-on, day-to-day execution of safety programs across the fulfillment center. This role doesn’t just manage from a desk — it is a floor-level presence that conducts walk-throughs, leads incident investigations, delivers training, and ensures compliance is lived, not just documented. In the absence of dedicated Safety Supervisors, the Safety Manager personally carries out the full breadth of responsibilities required to keep every associate safe and every program audit-ready.
In an effort to Make Spreetail Better, we hire people that are aligned with our values and are passionate about pursuing ecommerce excellence. We believe the right person can learn what is needed to succeed in their role. We are looking for diverse backgrounds and perspectives, so we don’t require college degrees and welcome non-linear career paths.
