Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Maintenance / EHS Supervisor to join our Olive Branch, Mississippi facility. You will lead Maintenance and Environmental, Health, and Safety functions while overseeing facility operations and powered equipment maintenance.

You will play a key role in regulatory compliance and fostering a safe, clean, and productive work environment. This hands-on leadership role operates in a dynamic distribution center setting, focusing on safety, efficiency, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Maintenance, EHS and facilities within a distribution center.
• Supervisory experience overseeing hourly employees in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to independently lead and manage EHS programs with minimal supervision.
• Experience preparing for internal EHS audits.
• Strong verbal and written communication across organization levels.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Office tools for reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Submit company and regulatory reporting on-time.
• Develop site personnel to support EHS programs.
• Manage workers compensation processes.
• Collaborate with OSHA, EPA, and local regulators.
• Lead investigations of incidents and track corrective actions.
• Conduct routine safety observations for compliance.
• Represent management in EHS meetings and training.
• Oversee preventive maintenance for equipment and facilities.
• Provide maintenance support for utilities, HVAC, and fire systems.
• Plan and lead maintenance projects and 5S/hygiene compliance.
• Upgrade equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
