Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases, a leading provider of cryogenic pumps, heat exchangers, process systems, and services, seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to safeguard employees, visitors, and contractors while ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations.

The EHS Manager will lead initiatives with the Operations Manager to minimize workers' compensation exposure through proactive safety programs and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and/or 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record within our industry or industries with comparable risk profiles and cultures.
• Demonstrable track record of driving safety implementations successfully throughout facilities.

Responsibilities

• Implements EHS programs in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Evaluates workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
• Conducts safety training and demonstrates the use of safety equipment.
• Investigates accidents to identify cause and determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
• Serve in an advisory capacity to management and liaison with regulatory agency inspections and correspondence.
• Represents the company in community and industry safety groups, programs, and conferences.
