Job summary

Solenis is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Leader for the Huntingdon Valley site. You will own and drive all EHS programs, ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental permits, and foster a strong safety culture in partnership with operations and site leadership.

The role involves leading audits, investigations, training, and emergency planning, with a clear focus on performance metrics and regulatory interactions to continuously improve safety outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site lead for all EHS programs, policies, and compliance activities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations (waste, hazardous materials, air/water permits).
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and job safety analyses; drive corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; lead root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training, including new hire onboarding; maintain training records.
• Track safety metrics and provide updates to site leadership.
• Lead emergency preparedness efforts, including response plans and drills.
• Act as the primary contact for EHS-related audits and regulatory interactions.
• Partner with operations to improve safety performance and ensure safe work practices.
• Promote employee engagement and accountability in safety programs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field

This role is responsible for leading all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) activities at the Huntingdon Valley manufacturing site. The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
