Apple, Inc. is seeking an EHS Lead in Austin, Texas to drive environmental, health, and safety programs across its diverse workplace environments.

You will facilitate hazard evaluations, manage permits, lead investigations, and coordinate emergency response while partnering with cross-functional teams to foster a proactive safety culture. Your role includes developing and maintaining EHS procedures, leading site inspections, and mentoring staff to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in an EHS discipline required.
• 7+ years EHS experience.
• Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EPA, and NFPA/IFC.
• Experience developing and implementing EHS programs and processes.
• Experience supporting laboratory and facilities EHS.
• Ability to be on-call and work off hours.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform EHS inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate chemical inventories, drills, equipment reviews, risk assessments, and inspections.
• Conduct incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Review operations and equipment during design and implementation to reduce EHS hazards.
• Support construction projects by reviewing JHAs, procedures, lift plans, life safety, site logistics, and permits.
• Manage EHS documentation, permits, filings, and reports on time.
• Serve as primary contact for EHS inquiries from employees, partners, and contractors.
• Coordinate on-site emergency response and participate in EHS on-call rotation.
• Stay current on regulatory requirements and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement EHS initiatives.
• Provide training to promote a proactive safety culture.
