DQS Inc. is seeking contract Lead Auditors to perform ISO 14001/45001/RC audits. The role supports virtual, home-based work with travel within the US. You will assess customer needs, ensure quality of services, and conduct EMS-related assessments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of professional auditing experience, accredited Lead Auditor training, and a four-year degree. Extensive travel across the US and Canada is required.

• The candidate will have a successful work history, in addition to strong interpersonal and organizational skills with excellent written and oral communication capabilities. The candidate will also have the ability to work in a virtual, home-based environment and travel within the US.
• Knowledge of EMS principles and methods for standard assessments.
• Must be able to assess customer needs, meet quality standards for services and evaluate customer satisfaction.
• Work independently and project a professional image appropriate to the work environment.
• Critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to concerns.
• Experience with quality management systems, 2nd and/or 3rd party certifications, 14001/45001/RC auditing/assessments.
• Excellent communication and follow-through skills.

Additional Job Description

• Accredited Lead Auditor course for the relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) preferably 40 hours in length.
• 4-Year College Degree and 5+ years of professional experience, including management, personnel or project responsibility, two of them relating to respective management system (QMS, EMS, OHS, EnMS).
• Extensive travel is required within the US and Canada.
