Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation’s Parker Aerospace / Parker Meggitt site in Simi Valley, California seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Intern to support site EHS programs and regulatory compliance in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.

The intern will assist with audits, safety inspections, training coordination, records management, hazardous materials handling, and reporting under the guidance of EHS and site leadership.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related program.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Interested in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with EHS audits, safety inspections, workplace assessments, and follow-up tracking.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Help maintain EHS records, permits, logs, procedures, training documentation, and compliance files.
• Assist with hazardous materials and hazardous waste activities, including labeling and SDS review.
