You will lead a facilities and maintenance team, partner with Operations, Project Management, EH&S, and other stakeholders to align priorities, drive modernization, capital investments, and improvements that enhance performance and employee experience.

At John Zink, we are investing in the future of our Tulsa campus and manufacturing operations. We are seeking an EHS & Facilities Manager to lead the development and execution of our facilities strategy while ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

This role is an opportunity to shape the future of our site through infrastructure improvements, modernization initiatives, capital investments, and workplace enhancements that support business growth and improve the employee experience.

As the EHS & Facilities Manager, you will lead a facilities and maintenance team while partnering closely with Operations, Project Management, Commercial, EH&S, and other stakeholders to align priorities, execute projects, and create long-term value for the business.

What You Will Do

Strategic Leadership & Site Development

• Develop and execute a long-term facilities strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead campus improvement, modernization, and infrastructure investment initiatives.
• Communicate facility priorities, project progress, and investment opportunities to business leaders.
• Identify opportunities to improve site performance, employee experience, and operational effectiveness.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing facilities and maintenance team.
• Establish clear priorities, expectations, and accountability.
• Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and principled entrepreneurship.

Facilities & Operational Stewardship

• Ensure facility systems, utilities, infrastructure, and grounds support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Identify and mitigate facility-related risks impacting people, operations, or the environment.
• Promote proactive hazard identification, risk reduction, and operational discipline.
• Partner across the organization to ensure facilities support business and compliance requirements.
• Lead facility-related capital projects from planning through execution.
• Manage contractor and vendor relationships to deliver safe, high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.
• Develop and manage facility operating and capital budgets.
• Improve cost visibility and identify opportunities to maximize the value of facility investments.

Business Partnership

• Partner with Operations, Project Management, Commercial, EH&S, and other stakeholders to prioritize and execute initiatives.
• Translate facility needs into clear business cases and actionable recommendations.
• Build strong relationships that enable collaboration and effective decision-making.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Demonstrated ability to influence safety culture and drive risk-based decision making across employees, contractors, and business partners.
• Experience leading facilities, maintenance, engineering, operations support, or similar functions in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Experience managing operating and capital investments
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate priorities, solve problems, and successfully execute projects.
