Job summary

Quantum Computing Inc. in Indiana is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to support safety, environmental compliance, and risk management across our semiconductor manufacturing facility.

You will partner with engineering, operations, facilities, and leadership to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and at least three years' EHS experience in manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related technical discipline.
Minimum three years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or semiconductor environment.
Experience supporting regulatory inspections and audits.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations.
Lead incident investigations and corrective/preventive action plans.
Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, safety audits, and environmental reviews.
Manage hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal in compliance with regs.
Coordinate and support emergency preparedness and response programs.
Develop and deliver safety training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Maintain EHS records, permits, and compliance documentation.
Monitor environmental permits and reporting requirements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks and drive improvement.
Promote a culture of safety through engagement and proactive reporting.
