Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer II to support regulatory compliance, hazard identification, and risk mitigation in manufacturing operations. You will help strengthen environmental stewardship while improving safety performance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field with 2–5 years of related experience, or a Master's with 0–3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety engineering principles and regulatory compliance.
• Experience applying hazard assessments, incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials management and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common ERP/EHS tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental, health, and safety activities by conducting workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and compliance evaluations across manufacturing and facility operations.
• Support incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions to reduce hazards and disruptions.
• Contribute to environmental compliance and safety programs promoting regulatory compliance and safe operations.
• Maintain EHS records, inspection docs, incident reports, and compliance data.
• Analyze inspection results and incident trends to identify opportunities for risk reduction and improvement.
• Support regulatory reporting and internal audits by preparing accurate documentation and maintaining records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support EHS objectives and priorities.
• Communicate hazards, compliance concerns, and corrective actions to stakeholders.
• Coordinate EHS activities for facility changes, operations, and safety initiatives.
• Assist with EHS process improvements strengthening regulatory compliance and environmental performance.
• Maintain EHS procedures, training docs, inspection records, and controlled documents.
