Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer II to coordinate regulatory compliance, hazard identification, and risk mitigation for safe manufacturing operations. This role supports continuous improvement and environmental stewardship while interfacing with operations, engineering, and quality teams.

You will help maintain EHS programs, conduct inspections, and prepare regulatory reports, building a foundation for strong safety culture and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with 2–5 years of EHS experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and risk management practices.
• Experience with hazard assessments and incident investigations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with ERP and EHS software; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections, hazard assessments, and compliance evaluations across operations.
• Support incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Contribute to hazardous waste management and safety programs.
• Maintain EHS records, inspection docs, and compliance data.
• Analyze inspection results and trends to identify improvements.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and internal audits with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, facilities, quality, and HR to meet EHS objectives.
• Communicate hazards and corrective actions to stakeholders.
