Job summary

Qnity Electronics is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer to develop and maintain environmental programs at EKC Advanced Electronics USA, LLC. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage waste, and oversee sustainability initiatives on site.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–6 years of manufacturing EHS experience, with ISO 14001 duties and permitting activities as key components. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in an environmental engineering or EHS role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal (EPA, OSHA) and state environmental regulations.
  • Experience with environmental permitting, reporting (e.g., TRI, air emissions, wastewater), and compliance auditing.
  • Hazardous waste management and chemical handling experience.
  • Certifications such as CHMM or similar are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain environmental health and safety programs.
  • Ensure compliance with air, water, and hazardous waste regulations.
  • Manage ISO 14001 program and sustainability reporting.
  • Lead inspections and EHS audits; drive waste reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations to strengthen site safety and environmental performance.
