Northrop Grumman is seeking an EHS specialist to review and interpret regulations, partner with site leadership, and implement safety programs across our facilities. You will help eliminate hazards and support environmental compliance while building a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in science with 2 years of occupational health and safety experience, or Master’s Degree with 0 years.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems by researching and learning quickly.
• Must have a DoD Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret existing and proposed EHS regulations to determine applicability and impact on operations; assist with implementation of EHS programs.
• Partner with site leadership to improve culture, awareness and accountability in support of EHS programs.
• Assist with development, implementation and maintenance of EHS programs to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Complete audits, IH sampling, ergonomic assessments, and safety inspections.
• Create and update Job Hazards Analyses and participate in tooling design reviews for PPE.
• Assist during accident investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Prepare and coordinate EHS training and conduct instructor-led EHS sessions.
• Interface with safety committees, senior management and other support groups to address concerns.
