Job summary

A leading construction trade association in Michigan is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Director to lead safety initiatives within the commercial sector. The Director will manage safety resources, oversee the MIOSHA Grant, and coordinate safety events. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and preferably OSHA 500 Certification. Regular presence in Lansing office and local travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• OSHA 500 Certification is highly preferred.
• Experience in the commercial construction industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead AGC's safety and health initiatives in the commercial construction industry.
• Oversee the MIOSHA Grant and safety training resources.
• Coordinate quarterly meetings for the Safety & Health Committee.
