About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to serve as the central point of contact for cross-functional collaboration across Sustainability, Operations, Facilities, Transportation, Products, and Retail teams. This role will lead the development and maintenance of our greenhouse gas emissions accounting governance program and drive compliance with established frameworks and regulatory requirements.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to serve as the central point of contact for cross-functional collaboration across Sustainability, Operations, Facilities, Transportation, Products, and Retail teams. This role will lead the development and maintenance of our greenhouse gas emissions accounting governance program and drive compliance with established frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison for cross-functional engagement, facilitating collaboration among internal teams.
  • Lead the development and governance of the GHG emissions accounting program.
  • Coordinate the annual data collection process to establish and refine our GHG footprint.
  • Validate data accuracy, ensuring transactions align with frameworks such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHGP) and relevant regulations.
  • Select, harmonize, and update emission factors based on evolving business needs.
  • Inform the development of technological tools to enhance data collection and footprint calculation accuracy.
  • Conduct re-baseline assessments and work alongside Global Sustainability Tech and Science teams to expand tool functionality.
  • Provide clear and effective communication regarding program status and GHG-related information across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in carbon or greenhouse gas accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14064 and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, including experience in boundary setting, data collection and quality assurance, allocation, and modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a corporate sustainability environment.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance regulations and reporting standards.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Environment

Join the World-Wide Sustainability team, specialists in calculating environmental footprints and managing water waste. Spearhead efforts to quantify and report on greenhouse gas emissions. Coordinate technical, scientific, and data collection efforts to ensure data accuracy and compliance with third-party assurance processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
