Job summary

James Hardie is seeking an intern to gain hands-on experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) data analytics. The 12-week paid internship will involve data collection, analysis, reporting, and supporting Zero Harm initiatives on site.

You'll collaborate with experienced professionals and gain skills through mentoring and real-world projects. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (Data Science / EHS related), aiming for 2027–2029 graduation, with at least a 3.0

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in a relevant discipline with an anticipated graduation date between 2027 and 2029.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Available to work full-time for 12 weeks during summer 2027.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Support EHSS projects through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Extract, validate, and consolidate EHSS data from Intelex, including Fiber Cement and Outdoor Living metrics.
Track and manage Zero Harm Month award data and support program coordination.
Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and documentation to communicate EHSS performance and trends.
Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and safety performance.
