Job summary

Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to support a large-scale manufacturing operation in De Soto, KS. This full-time, on-site role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and managing key EHS data to identify trends and support injury and incident reduction efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing EHS environment.
• Experience with EHS data management and safety software systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• ASP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, collect, analyze, and report key EHS data and metrics.
• Identify safety trends and opportunities for injury reduction.
• Develop and prioritize corrective action plans with operations.
• Maintain EHS data management and safety software systems.
• Track incidents, injuries, and corrective actions.
• Evaluate effectiveness of safety initiatives and actions.
• Provide accurate reports to support management decisions.
• Collaborate with site personnel to promote continuous safety improvement.
• Support site EHS programs and compliance initiatives.
