Job summary

Silver King Beverage Company seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional to support OSHA compliance, risk assessment, and safety training. You will collaborate across levels to promote a strong safety culture and improve metrics.

You will develop and update training materials, monitor inspections, investigate incidents, and help implement continuous improvement of EHS procedures and forms.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace safety principles and OSHA/regulatory familiarity.
• Preferred background in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or logistics.
• Ability to learn and apply safety software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Acts as EHS point of contact and supports compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Assists with measuring, testing, and tabulating EHS data and reporting results.
• Monitors processes and updates SOPs and work instructions for EHS compliance.
• Analyzes leading/lagging indicators and employee feedback to identify risks.
• Coordinates with employees at all levels to address safety considerations.
• Implements EHS requirements and maintains training and audit records.
• Conducts inspections, identifies hazards, and reports violations; provides intervention strategies.
• Assists in investigating workplace injuries and performs root cause analysis.
• Develops and improves EHS documentation, procedures, forms, and checklists.
• Contributes to health and safety training and EHS toolbox talks.

SUMMARY

Supports the implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs and promotes a strong safety culture throughout the organization. Assists with developing and updating safety training materials and helps train employees on safety procedures and preventative measures. Participates in workplace inspections, safety monitoring activities, and risk assessments, helping identify opportunities to reduce workplace hazards and improve safety performance. Works collaboratively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization to encourage safe work practices and continuous improvement. Maintains knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations and supports efforts to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and other regulatory standards.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acts as EHS point of contact and provides support Silver King Beverage Co., completes work according to industry standard and regulatory requirements.
• Assists with measuring, testing, and tabulating data related to EHS metrics and records, and reports on results, and documents findings; completes compliance documents for review and submittal.
• Monitors operational processes and employee activities; recommends revisions and updates to SOPs and work instructions in compliance with EHS requirements.
• Analyzes data in the form of leading indicators, lagging indicators, and employee feedback and concerns to identify trends and developing risks; presents recommendations.
• Coordinates with employees at all levels to help identify and address safety considerations.
• Implements EHS requirements; monitors training and audit/inspection records.
• Conducts inspections and identifies hazards and reports EHS violations; provides direction and intervention strategies for hygiene, health, and safety hazards.
• Assists in the investigation of workplace injuries and incidents; performs root cause analysis on accidents and work hazards and proposes corrective actions.
• Assists with the continuous improvement and development of EHS documentation, including procedures, forms, and checklists.
• Assists in the development, assessment and improvement of employee health and safety training; conducts employee training.
• Assists in the development of EHS Toolbox Talks topics based on current incident and audit trends.

Education:

An associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred. Recent graduates and individuals interested in starting a career in workplace safety are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a basic understanding of workplace safety principles and a willingness to learn and apply OSHA and other applicable safety regulations. Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is beneficial but not required..

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to build positive working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. Familiarity with Powered Industrial Trucks (forklifts), proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn safety-related software and systems are preferred. Computer Skills:

The ability to work effectively in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal

software programs), with advanced presentation skills and the ability to create

and maintain spreadsheets. Experience formulating Excel spreadsheets from basic to complex

formulas.
