Job summary

Trinity Rail Maintenance Services in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a dedicated Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator to join the night shift team at our manufacturing facility. You will implement established safety and environmental programs to maintain compliance with company and government regulations and protect our workforce.

In this role, you will administer safety and environmental programs, maintain training records, and provide effective training on safety systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Spanish language skills preferred (written and spoken).
• CSHO certification preferred.
• First Aid/Responder or EMT certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety and environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Administer and monitor corporate and business unit safety programs.
• Maintain training records and required qualifications.
• Provide training to operate safety systems effectively.
• Initiate corrective actions to ensure adherence to safety programs.
• Generate required reports and maintain timely records.
• Work with employees to resolve safety issues.
• Lead small safety projects as needed.
