James Hardie is seeking an EHS coordinator to assist in planning, implementing, and coordinating Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. You will help maintain OSHA records and participate in investigations to identify root causes and preventive actions.
The role requires a BS/BA in a safety-related field and 1–3 years of experience, with strong communication and project management skills. Competitive benefits are included.
Assist Site Management in the planning, implementation, and coordination of EHS programs through the application of sound EHS principles and problem-solving skills, to prevent or correct unsafe working conditions.
Education: BS/BA in Occupational Health & Safety or a technical field (environmental, chemistry, biology, etc.) with training in core Environmental, Health and Safety disciplines.: Required
Experience: 1 to 3 years related experience.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Access, and Outlook.
Other Requirements: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of employees in the organization. Need to be hands-on and self-motivated; ability to manage multiple projects. Good technical and project management skills.
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $70,000 - $90,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
