Job summary

BSI is seeking an enthusiastic EHS Consulting Specialist to join our Irvine, CA team and support clients in regulated lab and biopharma settings. You will conduct workplace assessments, evaluate compliance, and help strengthen EHS programs while working with experienced consultants in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of EHS experience, strong communication skills, and working knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of EHS experience in laboratory or regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of laboratory safety principles and OSHA regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exposure assessments, investigations, sampling, and monitoring
• Support occupational health and safety compliance initiatives
• Assist with EHS audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions
• Contribute to sustainability and EHS projects (energy, waste, footprint)
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to clients
• Collaborate with senior consultants and ergonomic staff on evaluations
