Job summary

8Fleet, Inc. is seeking a proactive Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support safety and compliance across multiple sites, based onsite at our Miami location. You’ll work with HR and Operations to enforce OSHA standards, manage workers’ compensation, and oversee drug testing programs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in warehouse or logistics environments, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, HR compliance, workers’ compensation, or a related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA and state workplace safety regulations.
• Experience managing workers’ compensation claims preferred.
• Experience coordinating drug & alcohol testing programs preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain company health & safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance and state/local safety regulations.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and documentation with carriers and providers.
• Coordinate background checks and drug testing processes onsite.
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions to improve safety programs.
• Support vendor relationships for workers’ compensation, drug testing, and safety services.
