Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking an experienced EHS compliance auditor to plan and run audits across generation and transmission facilities, evaluating compliance with EPA, OSHA, and state regulations, and to write findings with corrective action recommendations. This remote-first, 1099 consultant role may include occasional client travel.

Candidates should have 5+ years in EHS audits, power/utility or industrial facility experience, and familiarity with ISO 14001/45001 lead auditing; CPEA/CHMM/CSP

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience conducting EHS compliance audits.
• Experience with power generation, utility, or industrial facilities.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project‑based consultant.
• Nice to have certifications: CPEA, CHMM, or CSP; New York State regulatory experience; ISO 14001/45001 lead auditor.
