Job summary

AlphaGov seeks an experienced EHS Compliance Auditor for current public power authority work. You will deliver environmental, health, and safety audits for a large state power authority.

We operate remote-first with occasional client travel. The role is a 1099 project-based consultant position; 5+ years in EHS audits and experience in power generation or industrial facilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience conducting EHS compliance audits.
• Experience with power generation, utility, or industrial facilities.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run EHS compliance audits across generation and transmission facilities.
• Evaluate compliance with EPA, OSHA, and state environmental regulations.
• Write findings and corrective action recommendations.
• Review EHS management systems (ISO 14001/45001).
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming.

Requirements
