Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Kern is seeking an early childhood teacher to provide a safe, healthy, developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 0–3. The role includes supporting parent involvement and coordinating indoor and outdoor activities.

You will assess each child’s progress, set individual goals, and help with transitions to kindergarten, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. A transcript is required to be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience with early childhood programs.
• Ability to work with very young children (0–3 years).
• Strong communication with families and staff.

Encourages parent involvement in all aspects of the program. Promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. Develops individual goals for children, provides ongoing assessments of children’s progress, and facilitates transitions to kindergarten. Responsible for maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
