Job summary

Google is hiring a Technical Program Manager in the EHS AI space. You will lead AI/ML integration projects across EHS programs, bridging operational leaders with Technical Development teams to deploy AI-driven solutions and ensure practical adoption across sites.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage schedules, and communicate with executives about analyses and tradeoffs in product development. This role emphasizes planning, execution, and safe AI deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• 8 years of experience in EHS program management, project management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and people management skills, executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational roll-out, training, and user adoption of AI/ML integrations to ensure on-site teams use these tools for hazard prevention.
• Partner with development teams to embed features like NLP-driven safety alerts and automated scorecards into EHS software and mobile hubs.
• Collaborate with EHS site managers to identify safety pain points and translate them into actionable requirements for AI development partners.
• Collaborate with external vendors to evaluate and pilot AI technologies, including computer vision for hazard detection or LLMs for safety policy retrieval.
• Establish feedback loops to monitor and improve AI models, ensuring data privacy and safety governance.
