The EHR Configuration Specialist (ECS) is responsible for writing and maintaining reports, building and maintaining clinical forms, and resolving helpdesk tickets within the Electronic Health Record. Additional responsibilities include configuring the system to maximize efficiencies, and implementing changes as defined by clinical and business teams.
**Please note that this position requires experience with Electronic Health Records AND that candidates live in our 3 state operating area of OR, WA or ID. Only candidates with EHR experience and that are in our 3 state operating area will be considered**
Supervision:
The EHR Configuration Specialist is directly supervised by the Clinical Systems Manager.
Other Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:
Interpersonal Skills: This position works closely with a variety of technical and non-technical staff. Must have the ability to listen carefully, prioritize concerns, and articulate clearly what is realistic and what is not. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, professionals, and the general public. Ability to make mistakes, communicate with them, and learn from them.
Reasoning Ability: Critical thinking skills are strongly desired, including willingness to investigate and resolve an issue along with determining root cause and proposing plans for future reduction or prevention. Detail-oriented thinkers with an eye for solutions are ideal.
Requirements:
-Experience working in Credible (Qualifacts software) preferred. Experience in an Electronic Health Record or electronic database system is required.
-SQL report-writing skills are strongly preferred.
