The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Electronic Health Records (EHR) Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading the review and alignment of Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with EHR compliance standards.
  • Implementing detailed analysis and SOP cross-referencing for EHR access and documentation.
  • Determining areas of risk, drafting recommendations, and designing approval workflows for BAA processes.
  • Supporting daily operations and compliance through audits, training, and user support for EHR platforms.
  • Willingness to be on-call to support urgent access or compliance needs.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED AND two (2) years of experience in health information management, compliance and electronic health records

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Four (4) years of experience managing EHR access, compliance audits, and regulatory protocols
  • Experience interpreting and applying HIPAA, BAA, and PHI privacy standards
  • Experience designing and updating SOPs for health information systems
  • Proficiency in electronic record systems and access management platforms

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree in Health Information Management, Public Health, or Healthcare Compliance from an accredited institution
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Five (5) years of experience in a regulated healthcare environment (e.g., private, public, government, or military)
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and process design skills
  • Ability to educate and train users on compliance procedures and system best practices

Work location: Remote
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $42,715 - $52,208, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
