JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION

The EHR Solution Architect II (SA) provides fit design and architectural assurance of the EHR and related solutions to internal customers. They work within project implementation and post-implementation maintenance to support the customer, project team, vendor, and other project stakeholders to ensure an EHR that delivers the expected end-user benefits.

Requirements:

  • Seven or more years' experience in IT EHR roles including new software implementation and maintenance.
  • Behavioral health experience required.
  • Avatar experience highly desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with operations teams to understand and meet the needs of the business, resulting in solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  2. Collaborate with technical, business, and project management teams to optimize electronic health record information systems.
  3. Lead the design team to evaluate business needs and render best-fit technical solutions within the EHR and associated solutions.
  4. Manage the technical scope of responsibilities and serve as project lead or manager for EHR design and implementation projects.
  5. Interpret technical and business requirements to form the EHR solution.
  6. Oversee implementation to ensure technical viability and monitor progress to support timelines and budgets.
  7. Stay updated on industry developments and adopt emerging technologies.
  8. Configure forms and widget updates, manage tickets, and communicate changes to customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Seven or more years' experience in IT EHR roles including new software implementation and maintenance.
  • Behavioral health experience required.
  • No specific certification required.
