Job summary

Elsevier is seeking an EHR Integration Specialist within the Customer Success (Clinical Solutions) team to bridge clinical content with health IT systems. You will lead integration conversations, configure access models, and ensure successful deployments inside EHRs for physicians, nurses, and care teams.

You will collaborate with Implementation Leads, document best practices, and drive customer satisfaction through reliable technical delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with healthcare IT integrations and patient data workflows preferred.
• Strong understanding of EHR vendor integration patterns and data exchange standards.

• Become the expert on business models and rules behind each Clinical Solutions product.
• Master access and entitlement methods across our business.
• Partner with Implementation Lead to map client needs to the right Elsevier solution.
• Lead complex integration conversations with customer IT teams and stakeholders.
• Answer customer questions on technical requirements and integration capabilities.
• Identify process improvements and implement them.
• Maintain technical integration documentation and best practices.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure successful downstream outcomes.
• Develop and refine processes for enhanced features to drive retention.

What You’ll Do * Become the expert on the business models and rules behind each Clinical Solutions product* Master the access and entitlement methods used across our business* Partner with Elsevier’s Implementation Lead to match each client’s needs and technical nuances to the right Elsevier solution* Lead complex integration conversations with customer IT teams and stakeholders* Answer customer questions on technical requirements and integration capabilities with confidence* Spot process improvements, then recommend, implement, and sustain them* Maintain technical integration documentation that captures and shares best practices* Connect teams across departments so downstream functions succeed* Develop and refine processes for enhanced features that drive customer retention What You Bring Required * Strong IT background, including client/server applications, HL7, FHIR, OAuth, SAML, and ADFS* Hands-on experience with Single Sign-On, embedded URL linking, Infobutton, SMART on FHIR, and related technologies* Proficiency in Confluence/Jira, Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio* Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines* Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experiencePreferred * Experience integrating with or supporting EHR vendors such as Epic, Oracle/Cerner, or Allscripts* Healthcare IT implementation support and project management experience* Working knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with an interest in how emerging AI capabilities can improve efficiencies and end-user experience Why You’ll Love It You’ll solve interesting technical problems, collaborate across the organization, and see your work improve how clinicians access the knowledge they need at the point of care.
