Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Electronics Health Record Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for enterprise-scale data integration. You will work on both structured and unstructured data, enabling analytics for mission-critical programs.

You will lead cross-functional teams, handle real-time data ingestion, and leverage cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to harmonize diverse hospital and EHR data for insight-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application development and designing, operationalizing, and maintaining data applications at enterprise scale.
• 5+ years of experience retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data, and building scalable ETL and ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
• Experience leading cross-functional, collaborative teams.
• Experience with real-time or near-real-time ingestion pipelines.
• Experience with Python, Java, SQL, Scala, NoSQL, including MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Experience with distributed data or computing tools including Spark, Databricks, ADF, Hadoop, Hive, AWS EMR, Azure Event Hub and Grid, or Kafka.
• Experience with a public cloud, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to develop scripts or programs that convert various hospital or EHR data into harmonized, analyzable formats, and to support scaling, monitoring, and operation of data platforms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree
