Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, maintenance, and support of clinical applications of basic to medium complexity. Clinical applications include any software application used in support of the clinical enterprise including patient registration, patient billing, clinical documentation utilized in the ambulatory and inpatient settings, as well as applications for specific medical specialties such as, but not limited to, Radiology, Pathology, Oncology, Transplant, and Cardiology. Other responsibilities include providing basic to intermediate analysis and documentation of business and management problems to formulate clinical applications requirements. Assists in providing solutions to routine problems utilizing more efficient operational procedures, workflows, and technology solutions.

Job Duties:

This position is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, optimization, maintenance, and support of intermediate to highly complex clinical systems in compliance with all applicable regulations and organizational policies. Other responsibilities include providing intermediate analysis and documentation, formulating logical statements of business and management problems to develop requirements for the configuration of clinical applications, and providing solutions to intermediate to complex problems utilizing more efficient operational procedures, workflows, and information technology solutions.

This employee will be an analyst on the Epic Security and Provider Management Team.

• User Account Management: Creating, updating, and deactivating user accounts, ensuring proper access levels based on roles and responsibilities.
• Security Configuration: Designing and maintaining security classes, templates, and role-based access controls to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Auditing and Monitoring: Conducting regular audits of user access and security configurations to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
• Workflow Analysis: Collaborating with teams to analyze workflows and implement security solutions that align with operational needs.
• Training and Support: Providing guidance and training to users and teams on security protocols and best practices.
• System Maintenance: Testing and updating security settings during system upgrades or changes to maintain integrity and functionality.

Salary Range:

Actual salary commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule:

Remote, on-site as needed. Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion.
