Job summary

Pernod Ricard USA in Fort Worth seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist/Lead to identify and reduce hazards while developing policies to comply with safety rules. You will implement training, lead risk assessments, and drive continuous EHS improvements across the site.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in Environmental Science or related field and 5+ years of safety management in manufacturing. Strong communication skills and knowledge of NFPA/OSHA standards are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver initial and refresher EHS training programs for operations teams.
  • Conduct site risk assessments and define mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement environmental, health & safety programs to meet regulatory and Pernod Ricard requirements.
  • Drive EHS continuous improvement and coordinate corrective actions to closure.
  • Record keeping and incident investigations to determine root cause and preventative actions.
  • Define and track EHS KPIs (accident rates, training participation, etc.)

The range may vary if the role is outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.Position Summary:The Environmental Health & Safety Specialist/Lead (EHS) is responsible for identifying, removing, and reducing hazards and risks. The lead will develop and implement policies that ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations and assist departments with compliance and improve the health and safety practices of the company.Key Responsibilities:Implementation and Policy Development:Implement and deliver initial and refresher EHS training programs to operations team members and all new hiresConduct site risk assessments to ensure risks are identifiedWork with the site leadership team to develop risk mitigation and elimination strategies to ensure a safe working environmentManage and implement environmental, health & safety programs to meet both regulatory requirements and Pernod Ricard requirementsHelp drive EHS continuous improvement efforts across the siteDevelop corrective action plans utilizing key stakeholders and tracking items to closureDrive Safety Culture initiativesRecord Keeping:Conduct incident and accident investigations to determine root cause, preventative actions and track actions to closureEnsure compliance with applicable environmental regulationsMaintain required recordkeeping documents as required, ensure timely reporting for all site permitsMaintain relevant EHS logs and documentationData Driven:Partner with site management to ensure applicable EHS related KPIs (accident rates, training participation, defects, etc.) are defined, tracked and measured on a regular basis.
