Threat Tec, LLC in Fort Liberty, NC seeks an Egyptian Arabic Associate Language Instructor to support the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) LREC program. The role emphasizes modern teaching methods, syllabus adherence, and integration of technology in language training.

Ideal candidates possess ILR 2+ or ACTFL Advanced-High, strong English proficiency, and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance. Travel may be required as part of duties and program support.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2+ or ACTFL Advanced-High proficiency demonstrated
• English language proficiency tests and scores referenced in posting
• Ability to use technology to support instruction (smart boards, SharePoint, etc.)
• Willingness to obtain/maintain security clearance if required
• Minimum 80 hours of online language teaching training
• Background checks and government clearance as applicable

Responsibilities

• Assist GOVT in managing foreign LREC training for 1SFC(A).
• Deliver planned POI-based and ad hoc tutoring sessions.
• Develop daily lesson plans and keep attendance records.
• Grade daily homework and provide weekly feedback with Site Lead and POI analyst.
• Review and grade weekly assessments/quizzes.
• Maintain professional learning environment and address behavior concerns.
• Collaborate with Site Lead, POI analyst, and Language Instructional Developer.
• Instruct listening, reading, writing, and speaking, plus culture topics using modern methods.
