Qualifications

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.
• Experience operating a manufacturing machine.
• Assumes personal responsibility to insure safe and healthy workplace for everyone.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and, incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks.
• Self-motivated while also willing to ask questions and seek direction.
• Demonstrates the ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships and work effectively with others to complete work assignments.
• Able to work independently or with others in a team environment depending upon the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized and manual process systems safely to produce high quality and safe products meeting company and customer specifications.
• Follow SQF principles and safety policies; report safety/quality issues immediately.
• Maintain and operate equipment safely; keep the work area clean and sanitary.
• Inspect eggs, verify weight, and ensure correct labeling and dating on packaging.
• Be willing to fill in where needed and cooperate with different departments.
• Work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
