Job summary

Vital Farms is seeking a Processing Associate to join our ECS facility. You will wash, sort, and pack pasture-raised eggs from family farms, standing for 12-hour shifts in a climate-controlled environment with day and night crews.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, ensuring safety, quality checks, and teamwork to move product from farms to stores. Strong English, safety focus, and ability to lift up to 60 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English for safety and food quality reasons.
• 1 year of work experience in an industrial or similarly structured, physically active operations environment.
• Demonstrated experience following safety procedures, meeting quality standards, working as part of a team, and performing repetitive physical tasks in equipment-driven or operational settings.
• Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 60lbs.
• Follow all safety requirements and Vital Farms policies and GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and robots to load, sort, and pack our pasture-raised eggs.
• Maintain sanitary conditions for food production.
• Ensure eggs meet standards by following procedures and performing quality checks.
• Inspect supplies and equipment to confirm they are ready for use.
• Operate powered jacks to move supplies and product within the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as needed and stay flexible to production needs.
