Job summary

Select Genetics is seeking candidates for egg picker roles to support poultry production on a national scale. Responsibilities include following biosecurity and safety rules, teamwork, and handling live animals with endurance for extended shifts.

Applicants must be able to push, bend, lift 50lbs or more and work with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment. Weekend work may be required as part of operations.

• Ability to push, bend, stoop, squat, lift 50lbs or more and work with live animals.
• Organize and prioritize responsibilities for efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and handle a variety of tools and equipment as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in animal housing and work spaces.
• Work extended hours, including weekends, when needed.

• Perform the duties of the job while constantly moving and using hands, occasionally lifting heavy objects while being exposed to dust, cold, humidity, heat, chemicals and fumes.
• Work an extended workday, if needed including weekends.
