Rushtown Poultry is seeking an Egg Market Specialist to source supply, structure profitable trades, and manage risk in a fast-moving egg market. The role involves interfacing with producers, breakers, distributors, and other traders, with periodic travel to farms and industry events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in trading, merchandising, commodity markets, or B2B sales is preferred.
• Egg-market or poultry-industry exposure is not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with egg producers across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.
• Sell product to breakers, distributors, further processors, retailers, and other traders.
• Structure and price trades considering egg cost, freight, fees, and gross margin.
• Manage trading positions within risk limits and provide daily position reports.
• Identify spot relationships to support annual agreements and long-term contracts.
• Provide a weekly market assessment detailing pricing trends, opportunities, and risks.
