Do you want to make Colorado even better? OIT provides secure digital services that prioritize Coloradans. The Cloud Architect is responsible for designing and implementing the foundational infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring a reliable, secure, high-performing, and cost-effective environment. This role requires deep technical expertise in GCP core services, translating architectural designs into deployments, and establishing standards and automation strategies.
This position supports the Department of Corrections and/or the Department of Public Safety, requiring additional background checks, a physical exam, and possible ongoing drug screening. Candidates must pass these before employment begins.
The salary range is posted and based on a salary analysis considering experience, education, and certifications, in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
Includes background checks, drug tests for certain agencies, and potential travel. Remote work is permitted within Colorado. Out-of-state candidates must relocate to Colorado.
