Responsibilities

• Provide phlebotomy expertise, decision making, and problem solving skills based on in-depth knowledge of phlebotomy procedures.
• Coordinate the collection, receipt in computer, processing, and delivery of patient specimens for tests performed by the laboratory.
• Perform microbiology specimen processing.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy training program or one year of proven experience in Hospital, Reference, or Physician Office Lab required.
• Exceptional customer service skills and proficiency in utilizing personal computer skills.
