Velocity is seeking a Warehouse Technician in Ohio to perform shipping, receiving and material handling, ensuring safe, accurate and timely completion of tasks. • Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, data entry, and Microsoft Office experience.
• Ability to use computer technology to make labels, track inventory and keep record of storage.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Forklift experience or ability to become certified.
• Detail oriented, flexible, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team.
• Ability to take direction and adapt to ever changing needs and demands.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, while practicing safe work habits, to ensure the safety of self and others.
• Accurately receive, put away, pick, pack, and ship materials within the warehouse.
• Organize inventory within the warehouse by properly boxing and storing materials in their designated location.
• Record inventory movement and transactions.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and standards.
• Operate mechanical lift, winch or vehicles.
• Load and unload materials.
• Properly label materials.
• Dispose of leftover packing materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
