GovX, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate for its GOVX Fulfillment Center in La Vergne, TN. The role handles receiving and processing orders, verifies shipments, and uses handheld scanners to ensure accuracy.

Duties include cycle counts, inventory checks, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive product correctly using proper documents and unload shipments according to GXFC specifications and quality standards.
• Verify the accuracy, quality, and completeness of each shipment before receiving it in GXFC systems.
• Learn and utilize warehouse equipment to stock inventory on shelves.
• Use a handheld scanner to accurately scan barcodes and track inventory.
• Label and load packages in preparation for carrier pickup.
• Follow safety rules and procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
• Keep the warehouse organized and clean; report any damage or hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
