A&B Distributors is hiring a Warehouse Picker to accurately pick items for customer orders in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role emphasizes safe handling, proper staging, and precise verification of codes and quantities.

Responsibilities include building pallets, operating PIT equipment, and maintaining equipment through inspections and basic maintenance. A high school diploma or GED is required, with forklift/PIT certification preferred or obtainable on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Must obtain PIT certification to operate warehouse equipment.
• Basic math and reading for order verification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products for customer orders.
• Build and stage pallets safely for delivery routes.
• Verify product codes, quantities, and orders before staging.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks safely.
• Follow procedures for handling damaged products and repackaging.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of warehouse equipment.
• Perform quarterly maintenance checks on equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety policies.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
